Colla Insurance Group
Build something real. Starting from zero.

I run a remote sales team at Colla Insurance Group, and I'm looking for a handful of driven people to coach from zero experience into licensed, full-time producers. No finance background needed — just a willingness to learn and put in the work.

Real Career, Not A Side Gig

No hype. Just how it works.

I started exactly where most of my team did — no experience, no book of business, just willing to be coached. Today I run a growing remote team at Colla Insurance Group.

"I'm not looking for a big roster of names. I'm looking for a few people I can actually build into producers."

This page exists because I'm building a team, not filling seats. If you're already licensed, great. If you're not, I'll walk you through exactly how to get licensed and what your first 90 days look like — before you ever commit to anything.

Fill out the short application at the bottom of this page. It's short on purpose — just enough for me to know if this is a real fit before we ever get on a call.

Why insurance. Why now.

Insurance sales is one of the few industries where your effort translates directly into income — no cap, no politics. Close deals, earn commissions. Build a team, and you earn from their production too.

The barrier to entry is low: no degree required, and we handle the licensing process. But the ceiling is genuinely unlimited. Most people never try. The ones who stick with it are the ones who see it pay off — like the numbers above show.

How you're trained.

Training isn't one-time. It's ongoing — structured sessions focused on technical skills, mindset, and strategy.

Licensing Track (Days 1–30)

You get licensed. We provide study materials and support. No production pressure until you're ready.

Producer Training (Weeks 3–12)

Learn sales systems, closing techniques, and objection handling with real-world practice.

Daily Standups

Quick check-ins for accountability and support from the team.

1-on-1 Coaching

Regular calls to review numbers, talk strategy, and work through what's specific to your business.

Not for everyone. Good.

This role takes real commitment. You won't coast, and there's no shortcut around the work. If that sounds like you, keep reading.

Questions before you apply.

Do I need experience in insurance? +
No. Most of our team started from zero. We teach you everything — how to sell, how to close, how to handle objections. If you can learn and you're coachable, you'll do fine.
Do I need to be licensed? +
No, but you need to be willing to get licensed. If you're not licensed, we walk you through exactly how to get your life/health license in the first 30 days.
Is it really fully remote? +
Yes. You work from home, a coffee shop, wherever. We coordinate training sessions and calls during business hours, but the actual selling happens on your schedule from your location.
How much can I actually make? +
It depends on you. Full-time producers typically bring in $6K–$15K a month. Agents who build and lead their own teams are seeing $20K–$50K+ monthly. Your effort drives your income.
Is this commission-only? +
Yes. No salary. You're a 1099 contractor. Your income tracks your production. That's why the upside is real — you keep what you earn.
What if I don't hit the numbers? +
We'll work with you to hit your targets. But if after 90 days you're not on track, we'll have a real conversation about whether this is the right fit. This role requires commitment.
